釋迦牟尼佛說：「假使有人，左肩擔父，右肩擔母，研皮至骨，穿骨至髓，繞須彌山，經百千劫，血流決踝，猶不能報父母深恩。」
Shakyamuni Buddha expounded, "If a man uses a yoke to carry his father on his left shoulder, his mother on his right shoulder, goes around Mount Sumera for hundreds and thousands of kalphas,
until his skin tears, his bones breaks apart exposing the marrow, and his blood flows till his ankles...
It is not enough to pay off the immense kindness of his parents."
